My Mind

If you look at the cord; you would also see its form. My Mind follows the same pattern.

Pretending Sports

Ever wondered why we all lie that we are so into sports. Only to impress ‘Who’! And ‘Who’ is himself\herself trying to impress. It’s the story of ages.

The point is how can we stay behind someone else even if we actually are? A little effort and things show that we are one of the players. Then why reveal our Dud personality?

The roasted beans

I have been adjusting my chair, choosing the perfect seat. Then I thought about ‘silly friends’, who can’t keep a plan for Saturday. Now I’m juggling with my coffee and muffin; you see it is a small table and I have my laptop to adjust. After only I can write otherwise my brain won’t help. I think I should find another venue to write or our blog title has to change to ‘The Café Post’. We work at our office too. Also, I’m still waiting someone from office to contact me regarding ‘proof’.

It feels nice to come outside to a world where there is noise but the sounds are interactive. We all feel defined around people we never met. A simple sheet of paper and a writer’s interest in writing tells the surroundings what busy-ness is. Now it’s the Lappy’s game. And if you don’t have one, bring along a book.

People like my ‘silly friends’ would take a coffee break at workplace to ignore their job list. But I’m ahead of them; I’m here. If anyone interrogates about my escape, I have my answer ready: “I was writing for our blog.”

You see second to book, a cup of coffee comes as a best friend. And when it’s in the hands of a writer; words start flowing out of it.

Stranger

In this café, right now as I’m writing for our blog, I watch a stranger. I would say, listening to a stranger. Yes, this is a good way to say it.

Afternoon time, few people drinking their coffee, almost sleepy, yes all of them. A baby is enjoying public attention here, from all of us. Its’ been 5-10 minutes now, nice and calm.

Suddenly we all look at this someone, speaking a different language, no one could understand her. I was thinking if she was Spanish or Greek may be. What a voice or it was the speed with which she talked. Or, may be, the magic she created with her words. The café staff kept on smiling. Not laughing at her, please those were innocent smiles, they were glad to have foreigner as a guest. And then the song starts: “unforgettable, that’s what you are….” Few minutes later, the music sounds clearer as the volume increases. That’s the effect of smiles.

We feel the same, while networking for our company. People find us to be new. Yes we are new, as a company but with polished talents and loads of experience.

Now that you have read so far, ‘new’ brings change, a good change, refreshing usually, interesting too. Without newness or acceptance to newness, things are the usual. And usual needs refreshment, to experience.

When the lady had left, the volume came back to normal; I could still hear the language she spoke. Well, before she left, she spoke in Hindi language too. No one knew which country she belonged or may be she was an Indian and I could not recognize the main language she spoke with.

Whatever the case, it reflects ‘understanding’; no one can survive at a new place without understanding and experiencing the local. The lady did and like her, we also understand.

Before I forget to write this, the lady turned out to be the baby’s mother. Someone did babysitting for her child: a normal Hindi speaking person.

Proof

I just wanted to give a proof for my writings, thinking, working hard for my company. I happen to drink a lot of coffee. Coffee helps me to work. I know! Who would like to know that?

But this is important, I've been spending just to write; to think for the future. So, I was just thinking if there could be 'coffee reimbursement' in my salary package. This is just a request.

I am Xenotive

This is the first post on Xenotive's blog.

Had a thinking time; wondering what all could be written on our blog. When we write about ourselves; it is an easy job. But when we write on the behalf of our company, it becomes slightly difficult because a company isn't human. No feelings, not emotions! And we have to think like it.

There are two ways to do that. Behave like a company: i) as in work, e.g. like I'm trying to be Ms. Xenotive or ii) write on the behalf of the people of the company; or each of contribute to write; about the work again. The second way could be to just blog; whatever we think people would like to read and of course the readings should sound interesting to them.

I like to take the second option because people or work; both should be interesting to know. People have many interests away from work; but a company? Yes, it does have hobbies, opinions, reviews to write about. The people's words are the company's words. But it can only come to the outside world if we all get to or at least try to think for work as a person. Deriving an organization’s personality is one thing but to write like that personality is another. Xenotive is all about Innovation. And we the public of Xenotive will make various attempts to be so in every post on this blog.
